Still no running

Unfortunately the Achilles is still irritated, so the physio this morning has advised against returning to running yet.
Cycling has been green light though.

That’s the thing. If you run, you’re injured, recovering from an injury, or about to get injured. Cycling doesn’t have this effect

Well this week I’ve completed 3 sessions on the treadmill started at 1 minute gentle jog 1.5 minutes walk, but soon got bored so increased it to 1 minute gentle jog 1 minute walk for 20 minutes. No niggles so far, let’s see what next week brings. This could be the start of (yet another) come back!

Every time you think ‘this is going well, no pain so far, maybe it’s all better, let’s just skip a few steps and ramp it up’
Slap yourself and back off!!!

Really should have updated this as I’m back to normal running again, before the temperature went sky high I even managed a couple of half marathon distances
